Frances Guinn's Cranberry Mousse
Mikki Prescott's "Mimi"
20 oz. crushed pineapple (with juice)
6 oz. strawberry jello
1 cup water
1 can whole cranberry sauce
3 T. lemon juice
¼ tsp. nutmeg
2 cups sour cream
½ cup chopped pecans
Drain pineapple juice.
Mix pinapple juice and water, add jello, and bring to a boil.
Remove from heat and add cranberry sauce, lemon juice and nutmeg.
Chill until slightly thickened.
Add sour cream, pineapple, and pecans.
Place in mold and chill.
